Virtual Studio

A virtual studio in Unreal that showcases my work and experiences.

Environmental design

During this time, many people are craving human connection and social environments rather than something that feels “high-tech” and cold. Because of this, I was inspired to create a live virtual studio of my own in Unreal, showcasing my work and experiences. I decided to design my studio to have an urban aesthetic. I wanted the space to feel warm, inviting and personal. 

My process

  • Assembled the level using free assets from Unreal Market
  • Worked in Unreal Blueprints to create a material that would play video
  • Set up a cloth dynamic for the flag in Unreal
  • Connected my iPhone to the Unreal camera via the Apple AR Kit, Virtual Production Utilities and the Uremote app
